The PVA EXPO PRAHA trade fair complex has become a member of the prestigious international Global Association of the Exhibition Industry UFI, thereby confirming its strong position in the trade fair industry within Central Europe.

The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry UFI, of which PVA EXPO PRAHA has been a member since February 10 in the Trade Fair Area category, brings together organizers of world trade fairs and operators of exhibition centres, exhibition associations and selected partners in this sector from almost ninety countries around the world.

Our exhibition centre, as well as its parent company ABF, a.s., have, with this decision during the association's annual meeting, ranked among the most prestigious players in the trade fair industry, at an international level. The contracting fair of decorations, home and kitchen accessories and gift goods will take place in the new period from 24 to 26 February 2022. The spring fair FOR DECOR & HOME will present novelties especially for the spring and summer season of next year, there will also be new collections for Christmas 2022. The fair will provide the opportunity for a personal meeting of traders and manufacturers from the Czech Republic and abroad and acquaintance with products from designers, family factories with a long tradition and from major global brands. Major exhibitors not only from the Czech Republic, leading importers and manufacturers of decorations will appear among the exhibitors. New collections of gift items from many major companies will also be presented. Exhibitors can register for the fair now as well.

Exhibitions and trade fairs experienced a very special year, when they were among the first to be completely closed and the strictest rules applied to them, when it came to short and partial release. The current weakening of the coronavirus epidemic in the Czech Republic in recent weeks has also brought news of the gradual opening of segments of the economy, sports or social life. And the first good news already concerns the trade fair sector.

Today, the blanket ban on trade fairs ends and the first regulations come into force, under which it is possible to organize exhibitions and fairs. So far, it is a matter of limiting the presence of one visitor to 15 sq m of indoor space, but even that is a good signal and a boost for all those who participate in the preparation of this year's events. "The fairs are being prepared many months in advance," says ABF Executive Director Mr. Martin František Přívětivý, adding: "Exhibitions will be started this year by the car exhibition AUTOSHOW PRAGUE on August 27. We believe that at that time the situation around coronavirus will be even better than today and that we will once again welcome satisfied visitors to the safe environment of the PVA EXPO PRAGUE exhibition center." Companies that traditionally exhibit in Letňany are similarly optimistic and bargaining is missing from most of them.

Christmas decorations, christmas adornments, candles, candlesticks, flowers, plants, artificial flowers, home textiles, carpets, dishes, jars, cutlery, glass, ceramics, porcelain, fountains, humidifiers & air cleaners, souvenirs, talismans and any other more at the FOR DECOR & HOME autumn Edition 2019. Festive table decorations are the pride of every home, which is why they are a perfect addition to the home decoration trade fair.  For the very first time all the fans of floral design and decorating will be treated to a featured exhibition and demonstrations, taking place at display stand no. 2C05 in Exhibition Hall No. 2. Organised by NASTROM, the exhibition will focus on decorating a festive table for various occasions. Demonstrations will take place every day from Thursday to Saturday, always at 2:00 PM. As part of these floral design shows, professional floral designers will demonstrate how to adorn a table with flowers, wreaths, interior bouquets or potted plants, for various festive occasions. On Thursday, floral designers Zuzana Krčmárová and Peter Vacula will decorate a Christmas table. On Friday, floral designer Jindřiška Hochwalderová will show the visitors how to decorate a wedding table.  And on Saturday at 2 PM, floral designer Vlasta Sekyrková will demonstrate how to decorate a birthday table. The audience may watch from seats placed directly by the stage, or from the adjoining café. The entire exhibition will be arranged as a perfect harmonious ensemble, including stylish home accessories and an attractive wedding dress fitted on a mannequin. Come and enjoy a pleasant and inspiring experience in a nice atmosphere.

The autumn FOR DECOR & HOME trade fair will also include the influential CHRISTMAS TRENDS 2019 design show which will delight the visitors for the entire duration of the event. This year it will be co-authored by a truly international team of floral designers who will create Christmas-themed displays in four display booths full of vivid colours. The individual displays will feature different takes on Christmas, for example showcasing classic Christmas with a decadent twist, taking the visitors back to their childhood, and looking at Christmas as a permanent and unchanging value. The MERINGUE style will be brought to life by Hungarian floral designer Tamas Vigh. The CIRCUS STORY will be presented by Matúš Danko from Slovakia. THE CAROUSEL OF CHILDHOOD display will be created by Jan Karnet, a floral designer from the Czech town of Beroun. And the fourth display, MONARCHY, will be decorated by the organiser of the entire floral show, much-acclaimed Petr Sikora from Brno. The Christmas Trends design show will present unconventional, sometimes even shocking take on Christmas. The Christmas decorations used in the displays will be supplied by NASTROM, a company which will also have its own display stand at the trade fair. The FOR DECOR & HOME trade fair is associated particularly with Christmas, and Christmas is associated particularly with Christmas decorations.  This is the main link between the professional trade fair for decorations and giftware, and the talk by designer Iva Bastlová on “the Process of Designing Christmas Decorations”.  An attractive topic for fans of decorations as well as for the exhibitors, this talk will be organised by a long-established Christmas decoration manufacturer IRISA in Conference Room No. 1 in the Entrance Hall I. Demonstrations and an expert talk on this topic will be held on Thursday 5 September at noon. This year the autumn version of CONTRACT-ORIENTED TRADE FAIR FOR DECOR & HOME with Christmas theme will again take place in early September at the PVA EXPO Prague, Letnany. A similar date of this specialized event was proven in recent years, the fair has fully performed its primary mission: signing contracts for the Christmas market. Exhibition halls of Letňany exhibition centre remain to be one and the broadest platforms in the Czech Republic for business negotiations between exhibitors and their clients. We encourage all wholesalers, exclusive importers and manufacturers to present their Christmas and also year-round assortment at this unique event. APPLICATION to participation in the fair will be available in the second half of February on this website and will also be distributed within the database exhibitors. The first deadline for applications is organized following the date of 15 March, 2017. We thank all interested parties, merchants and professionals for booking the date in the business calendar.

Specialized trade fair for decorations and giftware, which was held on 19 -21 of January, for the first time with a spring theme, was successful and once again fulfilled its contractual purpose. 51 renowned exhibitors were presented on the net exhibition area of 2 010 square meters. In total, the fair was attended by 5 851 visitors, among whom dominated traders and professionals. We thank all the exhibitors, participants of accompanying programs and media partners for participation in the fair as well as for their active support of this exhibition scene. We also thank all professional visitors who regularly visit Letnany exhibition centre for concluding new contracts and to gain inspiration. Due to the great care of exhibitors, exhibition hall blossomed with magnificent expositions in spring colours and surprised by the wide range of spring goods. the fair was crowned with a professional supporting program, FLORISTA magazine staged an exhibition designer exhibition JARNÍ TRENDY (Spring trends) and editorial board of PROFI FLORISTA magazine was the organizer of the competition for the best floral bridal bouquet NEJHEZČÍ SVATEBNÍ KYTICI. Trade fair for decorations and giftware with a spring theme will certainly become an important trade segment in the industry for manufacturers and importers as well as for professional public and business network.

On Thursday 19 January has launched the 3rd FOR DECOR & HOME fair.

Visitors will see, in addition to the presentation of more than 50 companies with seasonal goods, the installation of spring and Valentine's trends, competition for the best bridal bouquet or exhibition of trends in the decorative treatment of walls.

The accompanying program of the fair was presented by the chief editor of FLORISTIKA magazine  mr. Ernest Jílek and florist mrs. Marie Bittnerová, director of MM media mr. Miroslav Mokoš together with florist mrs. Růžena Bubeníčková and General Secretary of the Guild of painters, varnishers and paperhangers of the Czech Republic mr. Pavel Žatečka.

The most important companies in the field of decorations and gifts are preparing their innovations and spring-themed expositions for premier of the contracting event with a spring theme. Trade Fair FOR DECOR & HOME – SPRING 2017 introduces the assortment of spring seasonal goods associated with Easter, St. Valentines day, International Women’s day to merchants and professionals for the first time at the exhibition scene. Their beautiful exhibitions with a hint of spring lush and innovations will be presented by well known exhibitors such as PERAMIT, SIMONS TRADE, BKS DÉCOR, KOLOUCH IMPORT, DAKLS, AUTRONIC, NEW GARDEN and many others.

At the fair will dominate the spring offer, however you can be looking forward for perennial and garden decor, most searched gifts, some companies - mostly manufacturers- will already offer the actual Christmas collection for the year 2017. FOR DECOR&HOME with its spring premiere will certainly awaken the entrepreneurial inspiration on how to present spring season in this field in Czech republic for both exhibitors and professionals.

We would like to thank all the exhibitors, participants in accompanying programs and media partners for participation in the fair FOR HOME & DECOR 2016. All participants were able to create professional contracting trade fair with an excellent atmosphere.

Balance of the fair shows an upward trend in all indicators. They occupied two exhibition halls, which involves 3,820 square meters of net exhibition space. The number of exhibitors increased to 126 and the number of visitors reached up to 7 742.

Most of the visitors were businessmen and professionals in the field. The prestige of the exhibition was supported by the expert accompanying program, which was on the highest level and with the participation of leading personalities.

Great interest received CHRISTMAS TRENDS in the new entrance hall II and popular Floristic competition ROSA PRAGENSIS which heightened perception of art right in the exhibition hall. Thank you all and we believe that for your professional presentation in 2017 you will again choose contracting trade fair of decorations and gifts in Letnany, newly in spring or autumn!

At the FOR DECOR & HOME fair it was possible for its visitors to see the unique exhibition entitled CHRISTMAS TRENDS 2016. Four different styles were presented in four expositions, namely Christmas in Tones; In Gardens; I, the Forest - You, the Man; and Glamour of Ostentation.

Christmas in Tones

Design of Scandinavian countries is a large source of inspiration. One of the characteristic elements through which the Scandinavian design differs from other ones is simplicity and use of natural materials. Nordic people prefer simplicity, it is true, but they enjoy colours as well. A typical Nordic day is usually not rich in light, and therefore they are fond of various colour combinations which are so popular in Nordic regions.

In Gardens

The style of the trends entitled “In Gardens” is fresh, clean and full of feminineness and elegance. Its aim is to raise a fresh impression. Thanks to the colours used, the trend does not raise, at first sight, typical Christmas impressions; it is not its main goal either, although it is a Christmas trend. Its aim is rather to remind summer days full of sunshine, flowers and fragrances; and therefore just to bring calm in the hectic advent time.

I, the Forest - You, the Man

This trend is inspired by the actual essence of a forest and views into it, offering infinity in a different type of “tasting”. It draws perceptions of viewers so much that they themselves are not able to return back into reality and become a part of the solid state of the forest community.

Glamour of Ostentation

This type of glamour reflects peculiarity and brilliance of the end of the century before last. The combination of historical and luxurious decorations brings us in saloons and boudoirs of large spectacular palaces. Combinations of seemingly different colours, namely gold, silver and black with addition of tones of claret to brown colours, create a magic impression bringing us in another, mysterious world.

Just today has the contracting FOR DECOR & HOME fair started at the exhibition area PVA EXPO PRAGUE. The opening ceremony was attended by the CEO of ABF mr. Tomáš Kotrč; director of the business team mrs. Maria Wohlrabová; director of MM Media company and the founder of the ROSA PRAGENSIS competition mr. Miroslav Mokoš; florist and organizer of WEDDING TRENDS 2016  exhibition mr. Petr Sikora and by the top specialist in gifts wrapping mrs. Radka Křivánková.

FOR DECOR & HOME fair offers in the two halls a presentation of the most important domestic companies operating on the Czech market as well as foreign exhibitors for example from Germany, Poland, Ukraine, Turkey or Slovakia. Overall you can visit one hundred and thirty expositions, that have mostly contractual character. In addition to the presentation of current collections, news and global trends, visitors can visit the attractive accompanying program. There is a professional floristic competition ROSA PRAGENSIS prepared, workshop of decorative gifts packaging or the exhibition CHRISTMAS PRESENT TRENDS 2016. The fair will be opened until Saturday, 10 September 2016 until 18:00 hours.

The FOR DECOR & HOME Trade Fair has completed the 1^st closing term for exhibitors’ application forms, and already now it is possible to register an increased interest of firms in this unique contract-focused trade fair in the field of decorations and gift goods in the Czech Republic. The exhibition area planned for 2016 is occupied at a level of 75% and the indicator of the number of exhibitors has almost achieved the last year’s final number of exhibitors.  At this year’s event the firms will present their expositions in two exhibition halls no. 3 and 4 which are interconnected by means of the New Entrance Hall II.  

Professional visitors will surely appreciate the growth of the offer from a quantitative point of view - the trade fair will be increased by one additional exhibition hall and attractive accompanying programmes, as well as in qualitative terms - absolutely new exhibitors (including foreign companies) will be present there, and the diversity of represented sub-branches will be markedly higher as well. All lovers of decorations, as well as professionals from the sector  can look forward to a pleasant trade fair experience, which is to offer new business opportunities,  original Czech products, as well as world trends, current collections of products, and last but not least also excellent inspiration for all of us.

Within the framework of the Accompanying Specialised Programme it will be possible to see the first edition of the exposition entitled Christmas Trends 2016. Four separate stages will present an exhibition overview of carefully selected trendy products from a large number of the trade fair exhibitors and partners to the trade fair visitors. The main intent is to intermediate an unusual experience from topically designed expositions, their colour characteristics and combination of useful materials. It is a matter-of-course that a detailed description of the given trend will be provided.

The expositions will be created by professional florists Jan Karnet, Michal Hrušenský, Petr Sikora and Přemysl Hytych. The above named florists will carefully select the best products from the offer of the exhibitors. Selected products in interconnection with flowers and perfectly done florist work will confirm that they are really an integral and natural part of applied design and ceremonial atmosphere. The purpose of the programme is, however, not only to intermediate an unusual show to visitors, but also to provide motivation for finding new products, materials, techniques and colour combinations. Last but not least, the intent of the exposition is to help the trade fair visitors to have better orientation in the sales product range of exhibitors, in order to facilitate discovery of one’s own personalised preferences in the upcoming Christmas season. This accompanying programme of the trade fair will serve also as an inspiration for the way of how to effectively purchase and combine the goods and then to present them in an original way to end customers in shops. A specialised lecture of florists aimed at the topic “Christmas Trends 2016” will be held within the framework of the programme as well.

Already now we believe that the exposition “Christmas Trends 2016” will be a great benefit not only for visitors but also for the trade fair exhibitors.

For the first time at the FOR DECOR & HOME fair will present the Polish company SIGMA - GLASS, that produces glass vases,candle holders, floristic glass and other decorations.

This year for the first time at FOR DECOR & HOME fair you have the opportunity to visit the stand of Radosvit Company from Kyev, Ukraine. The company produces  twines, ropes, threads from natural and synthetic materials (first of all jute and Ukrainian linen) in small accurate bobbins and supply them to the biggest chains of building-, garden- and household-supermarkets in Ukraine.

You can use them in the garden, in construction, in packaging, production of decorations and a variety of other needs.

The only contract-oriented trade fair for decorations and giftware in the Czech Republic will take place on 8–10 September 2016 at the PVA EXPO PRAGUE Exhibition Centre in two exhibition halls: new hall no. 3 and 4. Besides the Christmas topics, which are the primary focus of this event, increased attention will be newly paid to such sectors as modern decorations and kitchen accessories.
